Worship Arts Pastor

Christ’s Church of the Valley - San Dimas, California
Christ’s Church of the Valley (CCV) is a Non-Denominational Evangelical Christian Church focused on bringing people far from God near to God. Our vision is to see a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ in every home in our valley and beyond. We have a passion for worship, building community and serving the world locally and globally. We emphasize relational evangelism through our One Life strategy.
CCV has a history of healthy leadership and growth over several decades. We average 6,000 people in weekend attendance across 2 campuses, with a 3rd campus launching in the fall of 2019. Our Lead Pastor, Jeff Vines, has been at CCV since 2008 after serving as a missionary in Zimbabwe and New Zealand.
The Worship Arts Pastor will provide central leadership for our Worship, Creative Arts and Production teams across all campuses. In this role, the Worship Arts Pastor will be responsible for creating high quality weekend worship experiences that fulfill CCV’s mission, vision and values.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Worship Arts as either a Worship Leader or Producer in a large church. The Worship Arts Pastor will not be required to personally lead worship from the platform on a weekly basis, however this skill is a bonus. The Worship Arts Pastor will be expected to effectively plan and carry out weekend worship experiences through our Worship, Creative and Production teams.
We are looking for someone who is a catalytic leader who models servant leadership while empowering and positioning others for growth. We place a high value on humility in our leadership as defined by C.S. Lewis who said, “Humility is not thinking less of yourself, it's thinking of yourself less.” We are looking for a go-getter who will do whatever it takes to reach people for Jesus.
